Pow Kee

POW Kee (Bao Ji zhaoxiangguan, 寶記照相館) was a photographer with a studio established in Hankow by at least 1884. Pow Kee photographed the Yellow Crane Tower, Hankow (Wuhan), which burnt down in 1884. Pow Kee's studio was near the Yellow Crane Tower. By 1888, the studio had moved to Nanking. It was re-established in Shanghai in the 1890s, as Pow Kee & Sons.
