University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: CP-s097. A post card addressed to Bob, 196 Northumberland Park, Tottenham, N and post marked HIGHGATE, 22 October 1908 (i.e. posted in London). The message on the post card is: "Dear Bobs / That parcel arrived all safe & your Auntie is delighted. She sends you her love & best thanks & so do I. / Uncle Corny". A note written in pencil on the post card adds: "'Bobs' was Cornell's nephew Robert, who was killed on active service 1914-18 war". See CP-s043.
