Notes
University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: FH01-202. E.A. = Electrical Artificer, i.e. an electrical technician competent in the electrical maintenance of a ship's machinery such as engines and generators. Evidently, this work was sometimes dirty (and perhaps hot). This photograph may have been taken in a dry dock in Hong Kong. See FH01-210 and FH01-211 (which seem to be the same dry dock).
