University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Fu01-023.  Damo Tan (Da Mo Tan), Pei-pai (Beibei), 30km north of Chungking (Chongqing).  Translation of the caption in the album: At Da Mo Tan, near Chengdu 1940. Xu Shaoxian and Jiang Fangling. Xu Shaoxian was married to a prominent member of Chiang Kai-shek's Green Gang. She herself was a highly skilled marksman.
