University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Fu04-005. This photograph was taken at Northern Hot Springs Park (Pei-wan-chuan Park, Beiquan), near Pei-pai (Beibei), 30km north of Chungking (Chongqing). Min Chin is holding a Voigtländer 'Superb' camera, probably owned by Fu. This twin lens reflex camera, with a unique parallax correction device, was made by Voigtländer and Sohn (Braunschweig). It used 120 film, making negatives 2.25 inches (57mm) square. The camera was introduced in 1933. See also Fu-n258 (the negative), Fu-n296, Fu01-025 and Fu02-051.
