University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: HD-s14.  HD-s14 is a detail from HD-s13.  A foreign woman and a Chinese boatman pose on a houseboat in a creek near a slab bridge.  Feng wen shan (Feng-Wan-Shan; Feng wen hills), is between Tsing poo (Tsing-poo; Chingpoo; Ch'ing-p'u; now Qingpu) and the suburban Songjiang district of modern Shanghai, 20 miles west of old Shanghai.
