University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Hi-s042. Annie Lowe Hillier (née Hudson) (1860-1886), was the first wife of Harry Hillier. She died in China from cholera. Edna was born in1883 and would be aged about 6 months in this photograph. See Hi-s028 (which also depicts Annie Hilllier).
