Caption by Harry Hillier in a photograph album (transcribed by Andrew Hillier): 'The Commissioner's Bungalow at Tapeishan [sic] in the Lushan range, 8 miles from Kiukiang. The upper building is the dwelling house. The lower one the kitchen & servants' quarters. The bathing pool is behind the stone dam in the bed of the stream'. 'Saturday-to-Monday excursions to the Customs Bungalow...were a great resource.
