University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Hn04-007. The unidentified boy is perhaps 'Baba' Hansen. The monument to René Vallon (1880-1911) was at the northern entrance to the Parc de Koukaza (French Park), now Fuxing Park (复兴公园) until the 1950s.
