Historical Photographs of China album reference: Hv02. Lost Tribe album. Album containing photographs of the "Lost Tribe," descendants of 17th century Chinese rebels living in the Xiang Hills, ca. 160 kilometres west of Peking (Beijing) in Hopei (Hebei). Pasted up on the wall are new year woodblock prints in the style of Yangjiabu (Weifang) workshops. Two of the lower ones appear to be from Yangliuqing, just west of Tianjin. The large print on the right in the middle row could be the tale of the patron of carpenters, Lu Pan, holding up a bridge.
