This post card has not been posted. The Church Missionary Society sold in the UK a set of five post cards in a paper packet for 6d (2.5 pence). Printed on the packet: “PICTURE POST CARDS. / Boys’ Blind School / (Church Missionary Society), / FOOCHOW, S. CHINA. / 5 for 6d.” The Australian Anglican nurse and missionary, Amy Oxley Wilkinson (1868-1949), founded the C.M.S. Blind Boys School in Fuzhou in 1898. Musical groups from the School for the Blind later began touring Fujian province, then to other parts of China, and, in 1922, to England.
