University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: JC-s047. This is a post card sized film publicity card, showing a still image from the film/movie 洪湖赤卫队 ('Red Guards on Honghu Lake' or 'Red Guards of Hong Lake' or 'Red Guards of Honghu'). The film was made in 1961 and directed by Xie Tian, Chen Fangqian and Xu Feng. It was based on an opera first performed in the mid-1950s and set in Honghu (or Hong Lake), Hubei province, in the 1920s. More info here and here.
