The building flying the Indian National Army (Azad Hind Fauj) tri-colour flag, is the Shanghai Gurdwara, built in 1908. During the Second World War, the Sikh community of Shanghai had volunteered to give the building to the Indian National Army (INA - Azad Hind Fauj) for its use. Subhas Chandra Bose visited this training camp, at 330 East Paoshing Road (Dong Baoxing Lu), Chapei (Zhabei), Shanghai, in 1944. Sign: ‘AZAD HIND FAUJ TRAINING CAMP / SHANGHAI / 330 E PAOSHING RD’.
