Yanmenguan (Yanmen Pass, Xixingguan, Wild Goose Pass), Great Wall of China, Xinzhou, Shanxi (Shansi) Province. The slogans on each side of the gate are 實 and 信, aspects of thought promoted by the warlord Yan Xishan (閻錫山 Yen Hsi-shan) (1883-1960). Note the stele on a raised platform on the right. This gate still stands. See LP01-31, LP01-61 and LP01-65.
