James (Jim) Francis Lindsay, 3rd Baron Lindsay of Birker, was born in Yan'an on 29 January 1945. The rubber stamp (ROSE MAGNA PRINT) on the back of this print indicates that the print was made by Will R. Rose Ltd., which was a photography business based in Oxford and Chester, England, developing negatives, making prints and enlargements.
