Cadbury Research Library archive finding number: DA26/2/2/1 (John Preston Maxwell Papers). The musician's instruments can be identified as follows, left to right: 1. Plucked lute, probably a yueqin, but maybe a ruan or zhongruan? 2. Banhu, yehu or erxianzi. 3. Yangqin (hammered dulcimer). 4. Sanxian or erxianzi. 5. Xiao (end-blown flute).
