This photograph was published in a pamphlet entitled "Presbyterian Church of England / Some Notes From the Amoy Field" and captioned: "LADY OPIUM SMOKERS, WHO WERE IN-PATIENTS AT THE CHANGPOO HOSPITAL DURING 1902." Tang-soa or Tungshan is now Dongshan.
