University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: NA15-18. St Anthony's Church (Igreja de Santo António) is one of the oldest churches in Macau. It was first built in 1560 and was reconstructed in stone in 1638. The church was destroyed by a fire during the 1874 typhoon and was later rebuilt.
