Oliver Heywood Hulme is on the far left.  Born in Manchester, England, in 1882, Oliver Heywood Hulme was briefly employed by the Chinese Maritime Customs Service from 1905 to 1906 before moving to work for the postal service in China, serving in Beijing, Shanghai, Taiyuan, Nanjing, Anqing and Wuhan before being transferred back to Beijing and appointed secretary of the Chinese Post Office’s audit department.
