This view of Yifeng Gate (pinyin: Yifengmen; Chinese: 仪凤门; other: Yi-fong-men) is from the inside of the city walls. The gate leads to Hsia Kwan Wharf (pinyin: Xiaguan matou; Chinese: 下关码头) or modern day Zhongshan Wharf (Chinese: 中山码头). On the right is a guarded building with a Republic of China (Beiyang government) flag outside.
