The church in the background is the Cathedral of the Holy Saviour (Chinese: 圣救主座堂) in Anking (pinyin: Anqing; Chinese: 安庆), which was completed in 1912. It was one of two Anglican churches in the city. See OH03-071, OH03-072, OH03-073, OH03-075, OH03-077, OH03-078, OH03-079, OH04-131 and OH04-132 (same place).
