Photo from an album (UoB reference Os05) kept in the School of Oriental and African Studies Archives, London (SOAS reference MS 380 876/5). J.C. Oswald is the third person from the left. This tea room is top lit - and may well have faced north too, so that the tea leaves and tea were evenly lit, facilitating grading, colour assessment, etc.
