University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Ru02-41. No caption for this photograph in the album. The woman is wearing a changyi (常衣) and a vest. Her hair is done in a liangbatou (兩把頭) and she wears a pair of finger guards on her ring finger and pinkie. This photograph may have been taken in, or near, Peking (Beijing). See also Ru02-59 (same woman, same studio, same chrysanthemums).
