Notes
University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: SB-s44. Sheila Bovell wrote: Bought in April 1941. Wanshou, Summer Palace, Peking (Beijing). The Duobao Glazed Pagoda (多宝琉璃塔) or ‘Multiple Treasures Pagoda’ is located at the back of Longevity Hill (Wanshoushan), the ‘New Summer Palace’. This pagoda is not to be confused with a similar glazed pagoda (with a round top) which used to stand in Changchunyuan (暢春園), Yuanmingyuan (‘Old Summer Palace’).
