University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Sw29-122. Khaki cloth Kodak Negative Album, 12 cm x 9.5 cm. 187 negatives sized 1.5 inches x 1.25 inches -:- 40mm x 30mm. The album was later labelled P62/V. Wooden sledges (pai-tze, paitse, pai-tzu, paidza) with iron runners extending behind, propelled by a man with a spiked pole thrust backwards between his legs against the ice.
