University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Sw29-153. Khaki cloth Kodak Negative Album, 12 cm x 9.5 cm. 187 negatives sized 1.5 inches x 1.25 inches -:- 40mm x 30mm. The album was later labelled P62/V. Most likely, this photograph shows steam arising from salt wells as the water is evaporated (i.e. condensing salt). See GV02-20, Sw23-004, Sw23-005 and Sw23-006.
