University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Sw31-187. Khaki cloth Kodak Negative Album, 12 cm x 9.5 cm. 273 negatives sized 1.5 inches x 1.25 inches -:- 40mm x 30mm. The album was later labelled P62/VIII. The new ‘Hazelwood’, a house designed by Clough Williams-Ellis, was opened in 1934, replacing an earlier incarnation (see Sw04-094). 'Hazelwood', the Butterfield and Swire taipan's mansion, is known locally as the ‘Ice Cream House’, and still stands (Xingguo Road).
