University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Bk03-01. Source: 'Round the World from London Bridge to Charing Cross via Yokohama and Chicago' (George Newnes, 1895). On the right is Kellett Island (奇力島). The Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club relocated to the island in 1938. Following land reclamation work in the 1960s and 70s, Kellett Island was connected to Causeway Bay, and so it was no longer an island. See HR01-012.
