This is Guy Hillier's Buick "riddled with bullet holes" sustained in Beijing during the Manchu restoration attempt. Guy Hillier was not in the car at the time – his chauffeur and mafoo were, along with R.C. Allen (see EH-s63), the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation’s accountant.
