University of Bristol – Historical Photographs of China reference number: DH-s135. David Marr Henderson is standing, third from the right. D.M. Henderson M.I.C.E. was born on 9 March 1840 at Handsworth, Staffordshire, England and died on 18 September 1923 at Hove, East Sussex, England. It is probable that the man standing sixth from the left is Harry Hillier (he was in Shanghai in 1892). See DH-s137 (same tennis party).
