Photo from an album (UoB reference He01) kept in the School of Oriental and African Studies Archives, London (SOAS reference PP MS 82/15). This photograph shows Murray Pier (third generation) and the construction works on the extension of the Naval Yard. Connaught Road is in the foreground. The sloping platform of the Victoria Recreation Club is built, but not yet the club building. The Victoria Recreation Club opened in 1908. See He02-004.
