University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Hn-d050. SS POTSDAM was built in 1935 and operated between Bremen and the Far East. After WW2, the ship was renamed Empire Jewel, then Empire Fowey, and finally Safina-E-Hujjaj. Scrapped in 1976.
