University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Hn01-163. Sarah Penney (married Tom Hutchinson 25 June 1921, aged 18) first right, as a young teenager. Sarah had three older half-siblings. Her brother, George McLaughlin worked for the Chinese Maritimes Customs Service in Longkou (Longkow), Yantai (Chefoo). Perhaps he is the man in this group. Mary Katherine Hess (nee McLaughlin) is perhaps the woman on the left or in the middle of this group. Probably Yantai (Chefoo).
