Waglan Island is in the Po Toi group of islands, Hong Kong. The lighthouse began operating in 1893 and is Hong Kong’s oldest functioning lighthouse. It was built by Barbier and Bénard, 82 Rue Curial, Paris, France for the Chinese Imperial Maritime Customs Service. See DH-s002.
