University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: JC-s229. A real photo post card, published by Valentine, London (91131 J.V.). Through the entrance, banners, lanterns and signs are discernible. Outside on the left and right, are advertisements on stands for Abdulla cigarettes. The message on the post card is: ‘Dear Mother Just a P.C. to let you know I am still alive & having a good time. Just come from the show there are some loverly cars there. I am just going to meet Joe we are going to a show Love Mark'. The post card is addressed to ‘Mrs A Knaggs, Talgarth, Promenade, Bridlington, Yorkshire’ but was not sent postally.
