University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: LD01-103. Edward Selby Little (1864-1939) was a missionary, author, businessman, and an associate of Leo Dudeney during the latter's years in China. During the Xinhai Revolution, E. S. Little had a role in the North-South Conference in Shanghai in December 1911, helping to negotiate a peace agreement. E.S. Little also started the hill station development at Lushan (Kuling).
