University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Pe01-031. These clay figurines might have been made at ‘mud-men factories’ with clay found near Wuxi. The figurines represent some of the tortures and punishments of the Taoist/Buddhist hell. See Ar02-030, Ar02-032, ML09-d20 and Pe01-070.
