Caption in Fiddament's notebook: "Hong Kong - Bay (from W.A.D. Brook's Air House) 26/11/45". Air Commodore W.A.D. Brook, AOC, RAF Hong Kong. The war-damaged buildings in the centre form the main complex of the University of Hong Kong. For information about the cast-iron water tank with a hexagonal roof (near the entrance to the university from Kotewall Road), in the foreground of RB-t0872, see: https://gwulo.com/node/36439. The water tank is very unusual for Hong Kong and may be over 160 years old.
