University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Ro-n0861. This photograph is reproduced in 'The Press Corps of Old Shanghai', on page 19 and captioned: "H.S. ("Newsreel") Wong, cameraman for Paramount Newsreel. Photo was taken in Bubbling Well Road Cemetery (Jing'an) where Wong had attended graveside services for Pembroke Stevens [sic], killed while observing battle in Nantao, on south boundary of Shanghai, 1937". This photograph was taken at the funeral of Daily Telegraph journalist Philip Pembroke Stephens (1903-1937). H.S. 'Newsreel' Wong (1900-1981) was also known as Wang Xiaoting and Wang Haisheng.
