University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Ro-n1088. This fairly modern freighter of European design is thought probably to be the MICHAEL JEBSEN of Jebsen D/S of Aabenraa, Denmark. The letters KS on the funnel are thought to indicate a charter to the German company Styk-Gods & Kreaturer, which used this vessel to ship rice from Bangkok to Chinese ports.
