University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Sw32-046. Khaki cloth Kodak Negative Album, 12 cm x 9.5 cm. 210 negatives sized 1.5 inches x 1.25 inches -:- 40mm x 30mm. The album was later labelled P62/IX. The man nearest to the camera with a glass in his right hand is C.C. Roberts (Charles Collingwood Roberts, usually known as “CC”), who was soon to accept what turned out to be a poisoned chalice, as Swire’s Taipan in Hong Kong, and spend the war interned at Stanley.
