The Lunghua Civilian Assembly Centre (C.A.C.) was an internment camp located on what is now the campus of Shanghai High School. Photographer's blind stamp: Oscar Seepol Shanghai. Photograph taken by an Oscar Seepol studio photographer (maybe Oscar Seepol himself?) soon after the relief of the camp. The captioning on the back of the print is partly incorrect. Block D consisted of small rooms, used as accommodation for parents with young children.
