University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: WC01-182. The southeastern inner city corner guard tower, Dongbianmen (东便门), Tung Pien Men, ‘Fox Tower’, or ‘Arrow Tower’. The tower was damaged by shelling by Russian artillery during the rescue of the foreign Legations at Beijing in August 1900. See WC01-152.
