Views of Hong Kong from the 1860s to the 1920s' (CO 1069-446). The Victoria Memorial Hospital, on 15-17 Barker Road, on the Peak, opened on 7 November 1903. It was built between 1897 and 1903 and closed in 1947, after suffering considerable damage during the Second World War. According to the description on Wikimedia Commons the flags on the hospital in this photograph are ‘likely from the opening ceremony’ (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Victoria_Hospital_Hong_Kong_1903.jpg).
