University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: EV-s09. Advert: KODAKS MACTAVISH'S, on Mactavish & Lehmann's shop, at the junction of Broadway and Soochow Road (North). Dispensing chemist (pharmacy), perfumery and importer of surgical instruments, Mactavishes were also suppliers of cameras, glass plates (negatives), film, paper, and other photographic accessories. The company ran a dark room for the use of amateur photographers at the Hongkew Medical Hall also at the junction of Broadway and Soochow Road (North), Shanghai.
