University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: GA01-033.  Photograph by Felice Beato.  Field Marshal Robert Cornelis Napier, 1st Baron Napier of Magdala GCB GCSI FRS (1810-1890), took part in the Battle of Taku Forts in August 1860 and the entry to Peking in September 1860.  Honoured as K.C.B.
