Posters on the wall advertise ML Beers, Oslo, Norway ('The Best Lager Beer in the World') and BOLS gin ('Very Old Genever'). The men are drinking a bottle with the label 'The Lion Beer-Lager Beer-Export Beer'. This brand was probably produced by the Lion Brewery, founded in Ceylon in 1881. One of the men is handling a camera.
