University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Ro-n0452.  Japanese flags on the building and rocks.  TIger Head Hill or Mountain (Hutou Shan 虎头山 厦门), is on Amoy Island (Xiamen Island), Amoy (Xiamen).  Tiger Head Hill faces Dragon Head Hill (Lit-kong-giam, 日光岩, Sunlight Rock), across the bay on Kulangsu Island (Gulangyu Island).  The dragon and tiger team up to guard the entrance to the harbour at Amoy (Xiamen).
