University of Bristol - Historical Photographs of China reference number: Ro-n0898. George Lacks (1910-1960) was a photojournalist who also ran a film processing business in Shanghai - 'Lacks News Photos', 160 Avenue Edward VII. Lacks is wearing a tin helmet, with a light meter on his belt and a Leica camera hanging from his neck. See Ro-n0637, Ro-n0638 and Ro-n0639.
